Chicago Comes to the Moulin Rouge
The Rouge Review Dancers, those famous Diva’s from the Ol’ Moulin Rouge in Second Life (SL) have outdone themselves as they danced their hearts away in this month’s stage performance; CHICAGO. The performance had everything that you would expect from the talented Directors at the Moulin Rouge, a universal tale of fame and fortune, show stopping music and award winning dancing along with the gorgeous dancers in their elaborate costuming.
The shows directresses Evangeliana Manhattan and Xanthia Lisle who have been putting on elaborate stage performances in SL for over two years designed the many beautiful sets and created or designed the scripts and effects used in the show. The creative concept for this show came from the wonderful mind of Xanthia though both women as well as the other directors from the Moulin Rouge are incredibly capable and creative people with a bohemian bent.
If Second Life gave out awards for the best stage performances this show would surely be a multi time winner as proven by the crowds and their screams for encores and the standing ovations. It is no surprise that Chicago and this great dance team have WOWed audiences for multiple performances.
The Moulin Rouge itself is renowned not only for their weekly performances of the CanCan and Live Stage Burlesque shows but it’s many other fine shows; Woman, Lady Marmalade, The Ladies of the Orient, Eargasms, Eyegasms and Orgasms just to name a few. What is the Difference Between an Escort and Courtesan?
I thought I might post some thoughts today on the difference between a common Escort and a true Courtesan...
It is important to know the difference between an Escort and a Courtesan because the difference is substantial and critical for meeting the needs of different people. It is important as well to know yourself and what kind of client you will be. Welcome to the Moulin Rouge
Walking along the streets of the city, sparkling lights abound. You hear the soft din of laughter escaping from some building on down the street. Your vision focusing through the evening’s haze over the city to make out the vanes of a rotating windmill of days gone past. Though it is strangely out of place in the city, it is quite fitting for the structure. Built in old world style, the Moulin Rouge gleams with bright neon light signs. Gazing upon the establishment, you feel yourself drifting into a world of fantasy and mystery. This old world theatre is home to handsome courtiers, beautiful courtesans, actors, and actresses. All of the staff is exquisite in their talents and always eager and ready to fulfill your wildest dreams and fantasies. Step through the looking glass and indulge yourself.
